Star-Spangled Fest is a 2 day fest, culminating at the Austin Symphony Orchestra July 4th Concert and Fireworks. The event will kick off with the Texas Music Scene Independence Eve party for veterans.

The event is free and open to the public. Come on down to Vic Mathias Shores on July 4th at 5PM for live music, family activities and fireworks after the sun sets. This year we are offering VIP options as well if you’re looking for the star treatment.

This event is for veterans and active military. Veterans and active military can obtain tickets through vettix.org. A few lucky winners will also be selected to attend - enter our sweepstakes here.

We’ll have live music from Sundance Head, Tameca Jones, DJ Du, and Bidi Bidi Banda.

VIP Tables: $2,500 for a 10-person VIP table. Complete with complimentary bbq, access to air-conditioned bathrooms and more.

Lawn Access: $75 for 1 ticket on the Long Center Lawn. Bring your blankets and chairs for hillside viewing of the fireworks.

Shoreline Access: $35 for 1 ticket near the shoreline. Be up close and personal with symphony and front row view to the fireworks.

Please note admission does not include parking. Separate parking fees may apply at surrounding garages, surface lots, and street meters.

Coolers and outside food & beverages are not permitted in any of the VIP areas, including VIP tables, VIP lawn and Shoreline passes. Alcohol is not allowed in the main park and can only be sold, served and consumed in permitted areas.

Entry gates will open at 4:00pm on July 4th, with event programming starting at 5:00pm. Fireworks will begin at approximately 9:30pm.

Pets are not allowed in any VIP Area. In general, regardless of their level of fear or comfort, loud, crowded fireworks displays are no fun for pets who can become frightened or disoriented by the sound and other stimulants.

Food and drinks will be available for purchase from our vendors. This is the second year we will have bars onsite for guests age 21+ to enjoy alcoholic beverages responsibly. Please keep in mind you must consume alcohol within the bar areas or designated VIP areas before re-entering the general event/park grounds.

The recommended rideshare drop off / pick up is located at the corner of Lee Barton Dr. and Riverside.

Riverside Dr. will be closed ALL DAY. Other road closures surrounding the Long Center & Vic Mathias Shores also go into effect at 8pm on July 4th.

Yes! Bring your empty water bottle and fill up at water stations around the park.

Small personal umbrellas or chairs with shade attached to them are allowed. Large umbrellas and/or pop up canopy tents are not allowed
